Join us at Kinstone in rural Fountain City, Wisconsin, USA, for a Sunday afternoon OPEN HOUSE at our peaceful stone sanctuary, enjoy LIVE music, homemade pie & cheesecake, self-guided tours and good times as we celebrate Kinstone with all of you. We will be mostly outdoors where we can maintain proper social distance from one another. Bring/wear a mask if you wish – especially if you want to enter the Education Center (there will be limited access to allow folks to enter our main Education Center in a manner that allows for social distancing). Find detailed directions here: DIRECTIONS TO KINSTONE.
This year we have a special Kinstone-inspired Plein Air Art Exhibit and Sale going on during the Open House. You may have seen that we have hosted “plein air” (outdoor) painters throughout the year. The art they have created will be exhibited at Kinstone for you to view, enjoy and even purchase!! The photos below at the bottom of this page show a few examples of the type of art that has been created here. So beautiful!
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The labyrinth, chapel, stone circle, dolmen and other features will be open and available for exploration throughout the day. See the standing stones, prairie, pond, food gardens and more. Take time to see our two mama goats, four friendly cats, cob oven, solar dehydrator, light straw-clay cabin, rocket mass heater, thatched cordwood chapel, cordwood sauna, yurt and more!
